The www.resortgetaways.com.au website Terms and Conditions are deemed to be the full conditions and are subject to change.
Information on how to claim and redeem your Retravision Resort Cheque, accommodation rates and booking information form part of these Terms and Conditions.
The Retravision Resort Getaways Promotion offer is only available from your participating Retravision Store in Australia, and only during the promotion dates as determined by your participating Retravision Store.
The Terms and Conditions relating to the promotion and redemption of this promotion, including rates, are subject to change or withdrawal without notice.
To be eligible to receive a $500 Retravision Resort Cheque you must spend a minimum $500 on full priced, non-discounted, items (that is, the ticketed or catalogue price) in-store in the same transaction at any participating Retravision store in Australia. Multiple $500 Retravision Resort Cheques will be awarded to customers for each $500 spent in a single transaction e.g. if you spend $1000 on full price items in a single transaction you receive 2 x $500 Retravision Resort Cheques. The Retravision Resort Cheques will be handed to you at the time of purchase.
Each Retravision Resort Cheque has a fixed expiry date which is displayed on the voucher until which all bookings must be made, however your actual date of travel can be made for up to 6 months past the expiry date listed on the voucher.
This promotion offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion available through RewardsCorp and/or the participating resorts.
RewardsCorp advises Retravision Resort Cheque holders to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment, as most participating resorts are very popular and promotional room allocations at some resorts are very limited. Resort availability is restricted, excluded or surcharged during most school holidays, public holidays, peak seasons and special events and the weeks immediately preceding and following these holidays. Your accommodation payment is required upon confirmation of your requested resort accommodation and booking dates. This is the amount specified on the accommodation price chart under each resort listing minus the amount redeemable using your Retravision Resort Cheque. Payment can be made by cheque, money order, bank transfer or with the following credit cards — Visa, MasterCard, (a 2.5% credit card surcharge will apply) or Diners Club, Amex (a 3% credit card surcharge will apply). With payment by cheque, bookings can only be confirmed upon receipt of cleared funds.
In the event of war, terrorism, political or civil unrest, state of emergency or disaster, Retravision and RewardsCorp reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the offer or your individual Retravision Resort Cheque.
The Promoter, RewardsCorp and the participating resorts and other suppliers shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you as a result of your participation in the promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Your Retravision Resort Cheque is transferable to family, friends and work colleagues, but cannot be used to gain financial advantage through being sold, scalped, auctioned, raffled, pledged, redeemed for cash, or promoted as an incentive or reward by any third party as an inducement for any person or other entity to enter into any commercial arrangements with that third party. If your Retravision Resort Cheque has been obtained through any of these methods it will not be honoured.
Your Retravision Resort Cheque can be applied as a partial payment only towards the published or discounted accommodation rates displayed on the website www.resortgetaways.com.au or published promotion brochure for a stay in a room or apartment at a selection of participating resorts for a stay subject to booking and availability. Prices and the information contained on the website www.resortgetaways.com.au or any Rewardscorp promotional brochure are subject to change without notice. The number of nights that you can stay at each resort will vary, depending on the resort selected. The total amount of each Retravision Resort Cheque that can be applied towards an accommodation booking is dependent on the resort selected, its location, the type of room selected and the number of nights selected. You will be required to pay the amount that remains outstanding in relation to each accommodation booking. Information in relation to the amount of your Retravision Resort Cheque that can be applied towards your accommodation and the amounts outstanding that will be payable is available at www. resortgetaways.com.au. Rates for international resorts are subject to exchange rate fluctuations. All accommodation bookings and enquiries must be made through RewardsCorp on 1300 788 668 or online at www.resortgetaways.com.au. All rates are quoted in Australian Dollars unless otherwise stated.
Should you cancel your accommodation booking after full payment is made, no refund applies. Resort extras are also non refundable and cannot be amended after your booking has been confirmed. However, you can amend your booking dates for your selected resort as often as you require up to 35 days prior to your booked arrival date, and you can also transfer your accommodation booking to another party, without penalty or incurring amendment fees, only name amendments will be permitted within 35 days of arrival at your booked resort. No cancellations or amendments are permitted for “Last minute specials”. At the sole discretion of RewardsCorp, and subject to the booked resort and the specific room inventory being utilised for another booking, cancellations and date changes may be permitted within 35 days prior to your booked arrival date, subject to a $100 fee.
In the event of a situation whereby RewardsCorp or the resort cannot provide booked accommodation as previously confirmed, for whatever reason, RewardsCorp will undertake to relocate you into an alternative resort of comparable grading at no expense to you. Should there not be a resort of comparable grading in the vicinity of the original booking, it may be required to provide you with a resort of a lesser grading. If this is the case, any reduction in costs will be refunded to you. The alternatives offered are at RewardsCorp’s discretion. Should you wish to choose a property of a standard other than offered under this condition, you will be required to pay any difference.
By participating in this offer, unless otherwise advised by you, you consent to the information you provide to RewardsCorp being entered into a database and RewardsCorp may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to you. All personal details of participants will be stored at RewardsCorp’s head office. As per applicable Privacy Legislation, a request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office. See website www.resortgetaways.com.au for full Privacy Policy.
Where the value of the accommodation that may be redeemed using a Retravision Resort Cheque is less than the total value of the Retravision Resort Cheque, the unused portion of the voucher will be provided to you as a Credit Certificate for that amount, and can be used for future Retravision Resort Getaways bookings. A Credit Certificate is subject to the same Terms and Conditions as a Retravision Resort Cheque.
A Hotel Room, Suite or 1 Bedroom Apartment sleeps 2 guests, a 2 Bedroom Suite or Apartment sleeps 4 guests, a 3 Bedroom Apartment or Villa sleeps 6 guests, and a 4 Bedroom Villa sleeps 8 guests, unless stated otherwise. Where necessary extra guests and children will incur a charge for additional bedding. Details on request from RewardsCorp on 1300 788 668.
Rates for 7 night stays at many resorts are based on Friday check-in. Alternative check-in days for 7 night stays may be possible subject to availability. A surcharge may apply.
Acceptance of your booking is subject to each participating resort’s standard conditions of acceptance of guests including, but not limited to, conditions in relation to booking, occupancy, payment and checkout that apply at all times.
Your Retravision Resort Cheques each carry unique serial numbers which are validated and filed with your account at the time of booking. While you will not be required to present your Retravision Resort Cheques to the resort at the time of checking in, we recommend you keep them as a record of your booking. Should you lose or misplace any unused Retravision Resort Cheques you must advise RewardsCorp immediately on 1300 788 668 and these serial numbers will be cancelled within our central reservations system. Alternative Retravision Resort Cheque serial numbers will then be issued to you for future bookings.
You are responsible for all travel including airfares and/or transport to the relevant participating resort, spending money, mini bar, additional meals and any and all ancillary costs incurred in order to take advantage of your accommodation booking. The rates and information in promotional brochures and catalogues and the www.resortgetaways.com.au website are correct at the time of publication. RewardsCorp reserves the right to amend rates and conditions or withdraw resorts without notice.
All enquiries and bookings regarding flights and packages will be processed through our travel partner Travel Rewards Pty Ltd A.C.N. 120 978 083 (Travel Agents License number TA 3172360; Travel Compensation Fund License number 4/9726; IATA number 02 3 6095 6). Separate terms and conditions are applicable for all international packages and will be provided at time of booking.
